Hand-pulled multi-layered ink on paper fine art screen-print - made exclusively at Edinburgh Printmakers

This unique work uses screen printed layers of saturated and translucent shapes to explore the weight and shifting mood of colour - echoed by elements of our urban & natural spaces. Initial layers explore alternating elements of plant forms and experimental monoprints directly through the screen. The shapes on the surface were inspired from a series of sea pebbles and individual paper stencils were made to form each layer. There was a real sense of joy and discovery with the making of this work.
